晶圓代工大廠裁員了 格芯年底前裁近6％

〔財經頻道／綜合報導〕新聞網站VTDigger報導，格芯（GlobalFoundries）在本週舉行員工線上會議，宣布2022年底前裁員超過800名，約佔全球 1.4萬名員工的 5.7%。

VTDigger報導，格芯執行長Tom Caulfield在員工會議透露裁員訊息，格芯此番裁員以非製造業員工為主，也將包括高管級別的職位，此項裁員計劃將在2022年底之前完成，裁員人數超過800名。

VTDigger表示，這項裁員訊息已經獲得了格芯發言人的郵件確認，估計裁員可以讓格芯每年節省大約 2 億美元。

近期，格芯公佈了截至9月30日的2022年第三季財報，單季營收 20.7 億美元，年增 22%，高於該公司此前預期的 20.35 億至 20.65 億美元，調整後每股淨利 （EPS） 為 67 美分，遠高於去年同期的 7 美分，營收、獲利均創歷史新高，而且單季晶圓出貨量年增 5% 至 63.7 萬片，也創新高。

報導指出，格芯執行長Tom Caulfield 並未說明，第三季獲利創新高為何不能用於保住工作崗位。他僅在最近與華爾街分析師及員工的會面中示警，隨著世界經濟放緩並面臨衰退，格芯將不得不削減成本，為半導體需求下滑做準備。
