防簡訊詐騙！今年起台電電費提醒只用「111」短碼

〔記者林菁樺／台北報導〕為降低民眾遭冒充政府簡訊詐騙風險，台電自2024年1月起，統一透過數位發展部開發的111政府專屬短碼簡訊平台發送「電費未繳提醒」簡訊，發訊號碼顯示為111，內容僅提醒民眾未繳電費的電號及月份，不會提供任何連結，若有疑問可撥打台電客服專線1911或165反詐騙專線確認。
台電表示，「111短碼簡訊」容易辨識且無法偽造，僅政府機關可經認證運用，有助防範電費詐騙，1月起請認明111簡訊來源，「只此一家、別無分號」，民眾若收到非111號碼、但署名為台電的電費未繳提醒簡訊，請務必提高警覺。
