日媒：台積電熊本廠2024年2月開幕、年底量產

〔財經頻道／綜合報導〕台積電（2330）子公司日本先進半導體製造（JASM），在日本熊本縣菊陽町興建的工廠，傳出將在2024年2月24日舉辦開幕儀式，預計2024年底量產。

日媒《熊本日日新聞》報導，台積電熊本廠自2022年4月動工以來，目前建物接近完工，部分辦公大樓已在2023年8月啟用，10月起開始將生產設備搬進工廠。

目前熊本廠約有1400人，其中包含從台灣派任約400人。另外約250名應屆畢業生，預計2024年春天加入。

台積電表示，熊本廠運作時預計僱用人數約1700人，目前相關招聘作業順利進行中。

根據報導，台積電高層屆時將出席熊本廠開幕儀式。過去台積電就曾表示，若要在日本建第2座廠時，將優先考慮熊本縣，也表示廠址可能位於熊本廠附近。
