〔編譯盧永山／綜合報導〕標準普爾全球市場智庫表示，佔全球經濟產值（GDP）35％的亞太地區，將主導2023年全球經濟成長，主要因為該區域的自由貿易協議、有效率的供應鏈和競爭成本，預估2023年該區域將成長3.5%，而美國和歐洲仍將面臨衰退。

標普將2023年全球成長預估由上個月預測的2%調降至1.4%，遠低於2021年的5.9%，也低於該機構對今年預估的2.8%。儘管亞太以外地區的負面前景，使全球整體經濟成長蒙上陰影，但標普預測，全球經濟可能能夠避免「徹底衰退」（outright recession）。
標普經濟研究執行經理強森（Sarah Johnson）表示：「由於亞太、中東和非洲適度成長，世界經濟能夠避免衰退，但成長很微弱。全球經濟情況因通膨居高不下、金融市場情況緊縮而持續惡化，未來幾個月歐洲、美國、加拿大和部分拉丁美洲可能陷入衰退。」
標普指出，東南亞和印度將因遠離中國的貿易多元化而受益，而CNBC供應鏈熱圖的資料顯示，中國因清零政策，正失去其製造和出口優勢。
