〔財經頻道／綜合報導〕美國與歐盟達成共識，同意繼續討論《降低通膨法案》中的電動汽車稅收抵免相關辦法。

美國貿易代表戴琪（Katherine Chi Tai）週三（14日）在G7貿易部長會議期間會見了歐盟貿易代表東布羅夫斯基斯（Valdis Dombrovskis），兩人將繼續討論包括正在進行的美歐鋼鐵和鋁談判以及引起歐盟官員憤怒的美國電動汽車稅收抵免。

歐盟和韓國上個月對立法中包含的購買電動汽車的稅收抵免表示擔憂，他們表示這可能歧視外國製造的汽車並違反世界貿易組織的規則。

《降低通膨法案》除了重組了現有7500美元（約23.3萬新臺幣）的新電動汽車稅收抵免，並為二手電動汽車創造了4000美元（約12.4萬新臺幣）的退稅外，還包括為汽車製造商提供數百億美元的新貸款、稅收抵免和贈款計劃。
